Summary Report 2 (Humood)

Humood demonstrated his presentation on the26th of Dec 2012 in our HCT premises room T003. The presentation took place at 3:15pm. Humood’s presentation was interesting although most of us got lost due to Humood’s presentation being about Chinese food and tradition while the food itself was a Japanese tradition. During the presentation I felt that he wasn’t confident on what he was talking about although his PowerPoint presentation was clear and straight forward, he might not have prepared for it well. Humood used text and pictures and later on when asked by Mr.Hedley, he couldn’t answer simple questions as to what was the food in the pictures. He wasn’t focused toward the audience using the eye contact technique and barely looked at his presentation as he only referred to the pictures taken. Humood’s English level is really weak and I thought of interfering myself in helping him in some stages of the demonstration. During the presentation, he gave audience the chance to look at the presentation by stepping aside and giving them the chance to have a good view. During my career in ADMC I have never witnessed anybody talking about a topic on a presentation with this confidence as he was not confident at all and seemed to just wanting to end this as he was tortured by this in my opinion and.

If I was an appraiser, I would have given Humood a rate of 6.0/10 with regards to the presentation and that would be generous.
