Reflection
This activity is about managing the group using our teamwork skills in organizing a meeting with regards to attendance issues and probable solutions. The team consisted of 3 students including Abdulla Abdulrahman (Chairman), Farah (Student Representative) and myself as the Academic faculty representative.
I was lucky being dropped into such a team due to the respect and teamwork generated from both of the individuals. I was the latest to join the group and was welcomed well by the other students; we exchanged numbers, emails and were in contact throughout the week which gave me great pleasure.
After getting information and facts from student surveys, we were able to get the issues and problems which are causing the students to arrive late during the evening shifts. Students and academic members proposed solutions and suggested amending and creating many new procedures to decrease the absence rate which seemed to be affective.
The next actionable phase is to praise the conclusions and prepare a document to be sent to the colleges’ higher management, highlighting the points, conclusions and budget for such an exercise.
